IPA LIVE Educators' Forum

Although the audience is targeted towards teachers, their expertise is relevant for all poets. Teresa Lawler, IPA Teacher Liaison, will host the following two educators as they share their best practices. 

Allison Berryhill's license plate reads WRITE. The word is both an affirmation and a command. As a poet, essayist, and teacher, writing is central to her identity. She currently teaches English and journalism at Atlantic High School. She lives on a farm and prioritizes laughter.

Tracy Tensen has taught mostly secondary ELA for thirty-eight years. Her most recent assignment at Gilbert High School included  being both the AP Lit and Comp  and  the AP Lang and Comp instructor. She also taught English 9. Tracy enjoys reading, memorizing, teaching, and writing poetry.
