IPA Fall 2026 in-person Workshop

Join us in Grinnell for a day filled with poetry: poem critiques in the morning, open-mic at lunch, generative workshop in the afternoon. We are pleased to announce that Bill Rudolph will be our critic on October 17, 2026. His workshop will be: "From ‘I remember’ to Mullen tanka and beyond.” During the workshop, Bill will lead participants through the steps of a process that will draw from their memories, experiment with what they generate, and initiate crafting toward an original draft that, one day, could become a share-worthy poem (or a piece of creative non-fiction).
