About the event
The Alpha Chapter Poetry Society invites you to join them September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 800 E 12th St in Des Moines to celebrate Alpha’s 90th Anniversary! Jane Olsasky will give a presentation on the society’s history and founder, Agnes Flannery, and her role in IPA. Jane will also feature other Alpha Presidents and how the society has changed over the years. There will be a dinner, poetry games and prizes, pictures, Alpha books, and, of course, cake.
